Saying Goodbye

I have decided that in a week I am going to delete my blog and be done with the stress of it. I started this blog to try and help people going through infertility issues and thinking of doing surrogacy through Rotunda. I also joined Surrogacy India support group to help inform people of some of my feelings about the circumstances regarding how things went for me and my husband. I have been hurt, insulted, called very vicious names and simply misunderstood. It isn't worth the stress. I do enjoy my friends I have met online here and intend to keep up with your blogs and feel free to email me anytime. I hurt so bad to still be the one that watches while all I know have their babies and I still remain childless. So good luck everyone, I wish you all the very best. We are still working with the foster/adopt agency but have to get our house approved before we can get a newborn. I guess if it is meant to be it will happen. I will just stick with loving my nieces and stepson for now, and working on my photography.

Hi.. just wanted to say hi, and maybe, don't delete your blog, you can always make it private so you can keep it for yourself so others cannot access it... you wrote so much and provided so much information and feelings and stuff, and maybe you would regret later that you didn't keep it? I burnt one of my diaries when i was younger and i started to totally regret few years after. Also you could use your blog to promote your beautiful knitting like i use mine (or you can create another one just for that)
Anyway, i wish you good luck with your future endevours !!
Hugs ...

Rebecca!! I am so sorry that you have been hurt by posting your blog. That is awful. I am so sorry to hear it. So sorry that people can't be better and kinder and nicer. I enjoy reading about you and your life. I love how honest you are and how direct you are. It's hard I know, but your hardship with infertility and CF make you so brave.
May be start a new blog. Have a fresh start, and don't only make it about infertility, but also anout other things in your life. Your knitting is amazing, and I hope that the hats I ordered are still going to be made. If you have the time and energy, I would love it.
If you do decide it's time for a break, I understand, and that's ok too. I wish you nothing but the best.
xoxo

Rebecca, I'm glad you are taking care of yourself. Blogging at it's best is theraputic, but at it's worst, it can be a burden. There's no need for that! May God bless you and your husband with health and joy, and may you find the fulfillment you seek.

Oh how awful! I loved following along your blog, do you think maybe you could make it private and invite those who are a support to you? I don't think you should have to do this alone, and anyway I can support you on your journey, be it surrogacy or adoption I would love to.

Please don't let other peoples ignorant and rude comments break you, fight for your dream no matter what anyone else thinks. They are the ones with the problem, not you!

Please reconsider.

Don't delete your blog! Forget the forum bullshit, I am off it now ... you need to go read the most recent posts ... don't let it hurt you. the few that are horrible are not worth it. You know the main people at the forum are great.

Besides, the blog is different to the forum. you have a completely different group of friends here. Don't let the tiny few spoil the wonderful online community for you.

I'm so sorry I am late on this, but I'm wanted to say I am glad to see a few posts followed after this one :)

I also wanted to chime in and say that I am so incredibly sorry you have been attacked. FWIW, the same thing has started happening to me on my blog. And, even though I know these people are ignorant fools, it still hurts.

You have to do what keeps you sane, but know that your blog has provided hope and a shoulder to lean on to many of us out there - MORE than it has given people a place to attack. You have served your intended purpose.

I wish you the best of luck with the adoption process and everything else and will keep following your blog for as long as it is here.
